1. Our Privacy Philosophy

We believe in privacy by default. Cosy Puzzle Cabin is designed to be played offline. We collect a small amount of anonymous usage data to understand which puzzles are enjoyed and where the app can be improved, but we do not use advertising trackers or build personal profiles.

2. Website Analytics

Our website uses Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Vercel Analytics collects:

• Page views and navigation patterns
• Device type and browser information
• Approximate location (country/region level)
• Performance metrics (page load times)

This data is aggregated and anonymized. No personal information is stored. For more details, see Vercel's Analytics documentation.

3. Poster QR Scans & Admin Tools

If you scan a poster QR code, we only log that the poster code was scanned and the time of the scan.

This data is used only for operational reporting. The admin panel is private and not accessible to the public.

4. Anonymous Game Analytics

When the app has an internet connection, it sends a small number of anonymous events when the app opens and when a puzzle is started or completed. These events may include:

• Puzzle type, level, difficulty, and play mode
• Completion score, time, and move count
• App version and broad platform, such as iOS, Android, web, or Steam
• A random session identifier that lasts only for the current app launch

We do not send your name, email address, game-service account ID, contacts, precise location, advertising ID, or a persistent device identifier. The receiving service uses an IP address briefly to limit abuse, but the IP address is not stored with analytics events. Events are retained for up to 13 months and are used only in aggregate to improve the game.

5. Cloud Sync (iOS & Android)

Both the iOS and Android versions of Cosy Puzzle Cabin offer optional cloud synchronization of your game progress.

iOS (Game Center)

If you sign in with Apple Game Center, your game progress is stored securely in Apple's servers. This includes:

• Puzzles solved
• Medals earned
• Best times and move counts
• Daily puzzle streak information

Important:We (the developers) do not have direct access to your Game Center account or personal data. Apple manages your authentication and data storage according to Apple's privacy policy. Your Game Center data is shared with us only as needed to sync your game progress.

Android (Google Play Games Services)

If you sign in with Google Play Games Services, your game progress is stored securely in Google's servers. This includes:

• Puzzles solved
• Medals earned
• Best times and move counts
• Daily puzzle streak information

Important:We (the developers) do not have direct access to your Google account or personal data. Google manages your authentication and data storage according to Google's privacy policy. Your Google Play Games Services data is shared with us only as needed to sync your game progress.

6. Local Data (iOS & Android)

All game progress, favorites, and puzzle settings are stored locally on your device. This data:

• Is encrypted by your device's operating system
• Is only sent to cloud services if you explicitly choose to sync
• Remains under your control and can be deleted at any time

7. Fonts & Third-Party Services

Our website uses Google Fonts (Quicksand) for typography. When you visit our website, Google may collect information about your access to improve the font service. Learn more at Google Fonts.

We do not intentionally use advertising trackers or sell analytics data. Anonymous game events are processed by our own website API and stored in our private database.

8. Data Security

We take data security seriously:

• All data transmitted to cloud services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Apple Game Center and Google Play Games Services use industry-standard encryption
• Your email address is stored securely and protected from unauthorized access
• We do not store unnecessary personal information

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request what data we hold about you
• Deletion: Request deletion of your email from our notification list
• Opt-out: Choose not to use cloud sync features
• Control: Delete local game data from your device at any time

10. Children's Privacy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of our website and apps constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
